" ... do all to the glory of God." I Corinthians 10:31b
We pack a lot of celebrating into February, the shortest month of the year. Black History, Valentine's Day, President's Day and more - each of these occasions evoking many different memories and emotions for each of us, but with a common thread of love - love of country, love for family, and love for God upon whose principles this country was founded.
"In God We Trust" and "One Nation under God" are words inscribed in our coins, and engraved in our buildings, but are they ingrained in our hearts? Declare today, "In God I trust!"
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Galatians 5:1
LCA Students Share God's Love
Our group of 15 students and 6 adults accompanied our 2 facilitators from Impulse Missions to Costa Rica for a week of ministry. We provided food for 50 families, partnered with Alto Poder (Higher Power) to conduct a soccer camp for 5-12 year olds, provided school supplies for 100 children, painted the inside and outside of a church building, and held afternoon ministry sessions for the ladies of the church. The Lord provided health and safety for all. We developed relationships with the local church ministry, and by the end of the week 33 children accepted Christ as their Savior. Pray for these children to grow in the Lord. What a privilege for our LCA students to share God's love and impact the world for Him!

God Bless America - our Prayer
God Bless America, Land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her, through the night with a light from above. From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam, God bless America, my home sweet home, God bless America, my home sweet home.
The song was first written by Irving Berlin in 1918. He rewrote it in 1938 as a prayer for peace in response to the rise of Adolf Hitler and fascism in Germany.
At its heart, it’s a prayer for the well-being of our country. In the politically and racially charged times in which we live, may God bless America.
The mission of Liberty Christian Academy is to provide a quality Christian education in a Christ-centered environment in order to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.
