Mrs. Olivares' Kindergarteners made this incredible sign to cheer on the Northwood's 5th grade students as they entered into the spring testing season this week! I have no doubt our students will KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK!
We are in the process of planning summer JULY activities to wrap services around students. You may have heard your site administrator or department director discussing these. You will receive information from Mr. Beard very soon. Our goal is to provide our students with a quality summer event that will not only allow us to curb learning loss, but ALSO will provide rich summer activities students may not have had access to during this pandemic year. A little known fact it seems: LEARNING IS FUN!
This year has presented us with many opportunities to choose what will preoccupy our time and attention. Putting events in perspective can be difficult in challenging times. Enjoy the small stuff as these may be the most meaningful for you! This may seem tough in current circumstances, but remember tough times, including pandemics, don't last forever.
