Week Four Spring term one
In Mantle this week we discovered that Florence Nightingale needs our help. She wants to take thirty-eight nurses to Scutari Hospital to help the injured soldiers. We had to design a logo for our team of Nightingale Nurses.
We had some first-aid training and learned how to use a bandage and sling.
Lacey did a fantastic piece of writing this week. She is in Golden Book because she showed great stamina and wrote a page and a half! She also used techniques we have been practising, such as using commas to separate items in a list and using conjunctions to write compound sentences. Well done Lacey!
