Christa McAuliffe Middle School and John Glenn High School Spring Concert May 15th, 2019 @7pm

Welcome to the Bangor Township Bands 2019 Spring Concert. We ask that you sit back and enjoy the hard work of the many students you will see tonight on stage. As a courtesy to the performers on stage, we ask that you silence your phone so that your ringtone does not interrupt the concert and your neighbors. Also, please do not use flash photography during the concert. If you have exit the auditorium, please wait and go in between songs.

At the end of the concert, please make sure to greet your child and compliment them on their hard work. Make sure your child signs out before they leave, and make sure they have their instrument and music before they leave.

Concert Etiquette

1. Refrain from talking. This includes whispering.

2. Turn the volume off on cell phones. As much as you may enjoy your ringtone, it doesn’t fit with the music on stage, nor is it pleasant for your neighbors.

3. Do not take flash photography. It is a distraction to the students on stage as they are playing.

4. Do not leave as soon as your child’s portion of the concert is over. Students deserve a full audience for their performance. Next time, your child’s group could be last.

5. Applaud at the appropriate times. Sometimes music has several sections, so wait until all the sections have been performed. Wait until the conductor has put his/her arms down.

6. Do not leave the auditorium during the music. Wait for a break or in between songs. If you have a screaming child, then quickly and quietly leave.

7. Go to the concert expecting the best. These students have worked hard to prepare for this concert.
