Where I'm From:
I've lived in Plymouth, Massachusetts my entire life. Geographically, it is one of the largest towns East of the Mississippi River thanks in most part to the Myles Standish State Forest. Despite the amount of land it has, there are only about 60,000 residents in America's hometown. It's quiet, but not too quiet.
Plymouth is also part of the South Shore which includes surrounding towns like Marshfield, Duxbury, Scituate, Pembroke, and Hingham. It's approximately 45 minutes from Boston, but is also a quick ride over the bridge away from Cape Cod (quick until Memorial Day weekend at least, then good luck). Plymouth is most well known for it's place in history, however. The Pilgrims inhabited Plymouth in the year 1620 and there are many commemorations and museums documenting their history. Naturally, that history has made it a hot spot for tourism along with beautiful beaches and a bustling downtown scene overlooking the ocean. It's a paradise in the summer, but I wouldn't lie in saying that it's a typical New England town in the winter. Nonetheless, I'll be forever grateful for the town that raised me.
I am the oldest of four children. My sister Erin (blue dress) attends Salve Regina University and my other sister Kayla is a junior in high school. My little brother, the youngest of the Donovan Clan, is finishing middle school this year. My mother is an elementary school special needs teacher and my father is an engineer.
I also take more pride than I should in being the tallest in the family. Those days may be numbered though because my little brother is catching up quickly.
I love anything sports. Watching, playing, gambling, listening, talking about. My favorite teams include the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics. I also love college sports although I don't have a favorite team. However, I do follow UMass and Boston College athletics very close. Sports pretty much consumes my life, but I certainly don't have a problem with that.
