Global Aquaculture Dealing with and refining freshwater and marine resources, both plant and animal, for human consumption or use

Researchers and aquaculture producers are "farming" all kinds of freshwater and marine species of fish, shellfish, and plants.

There are two kinds of shellfish:

  1. crustacea (such as shrimp, crab and lobster) &
  2. mollusks (such as clams, mussels, oysters and scallops).
