Universal Theme: Is having a dream that you can achieve and never give on your dream.
In of mice and men George and Lennie dream was to have a ranch with rabbits, land and helping animals.
"Sure," said George. "All kin's a vegetables in the garden, and if we want a little whisky we can sell a few eggs or something, or some milk. We'd jus' live there. We'd belong there. There wouldn't be no more runnin' round the country and gettin' fed by a Jap cook. No, sir, we'd have our own place where we belonged and not sleep in no bunk house." Chap 3( 56-57)
This example shows how what kind of dream what they want when they get it. This shows what Lennie and George really want when they get close of getting 400$ and buying a ranch. Lennie and George had a dream that once they get there pay they will be free of doing nothing and buying that old ranch and reprinting it.During the story things has gone the wrong way. One characters has died because of their action. That person was Lennie. When Lennie died George and candy didn't know what to do when Lennie died.
In the scarlet ibis the dream was to have the james hurst and doodle like each other and become close friends.
"Aw, come on, Doodle. You can do it. Do you want to be different from everybody else when you start school?"
In the scarlet ibis it is talking how doodle and the narrator want to become best friends and have a bond together. In the scarlet ibis the narrator talks about how They want to become best friends but it goes wrong. Doodle dies and the narrator becomes sad. Doodle die as the scarlet . He dies at the same tree and same time.
SO WHAT ?
DREAMS are important because if you don't have dreams you don't have goals. This is important because as comparison of mice and men and scarlet ibis they have dreams and want to achieve it.
