Mussolini had a major impact to Germany and their economy. After WWI, he realized that Socialism wouldn't help Italy at all, so he converted to Fascism. He thought Hitler was a major power and everyone needed to listen to him.

Since he thought so highly of Hitler he followed by his side throughout all the destruction of WWII. He was one of the founders of fascism, so he indirectly caused this.

Mussolini praised Hitler and was very loyal to him.
