9/76 - 6/80: Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, Master of Art History and Diploma in Art Conservation (9/81). Emphasis in Paper Conservation with Antoinette King, Senior Paper Conservator at the Museum of Modern Art.

9/71 - 6/75: Stanford University, Bachelor of Arts in Art (6/75). Graduated with Distinction. Member of Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Chapter of California.

Experience

4/82 - Present: President/Conservator. Aitchison and Watters, Inc. Conservators of Art on Paper.

1/84 - Present: Occasional consulting conservator for the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts of the University of California, Los Angeles at the Armand Hammer Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, the Huntington Library, Art Division, and for the Norton Simon Art Museum.
