Since that date, we've published over 850 articles.
Wetlands . . . Snakes . . . Passive Houses . . . Solar Energy . . . Owls . . . Dark Sky Preserves . . . Wildlife Rehabilitation . . . Saskatoon's Northeast Swale . . . Geothermal Energy . . . Green Roofs . . . Outdoor Education . . . Repair Cafe Prince Albert . . . Sustainable Business Practices . . . and so much more!
We added resources to our website - an events calendar along with lists of environmental organizations, volunteer opportunities, books, and outdoor explorations.
We introduced EcoFriendly Action Grants in 2012 and have provided 294 grants worth over $209,000.
From Buffalo Narrows and La Ronge in the north to Lampman and Cannington Lake in the south, we've supported individuals, schools, municipalities, and community organizations.
Such a wide range of projects - from reusable cups and plates to a delivery bike, educational programs, film festivals, and trails.
In 2020, we launched Nature Companion, an introductory nature website/app with over 300 plants and animals of Western Canada - https://www.naturecompanion.ca
10 years! We've learned so much and met so many great people. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and ideas.
