RMC vs Concordia Friday - 2018/11/30

Montreal, QC - Despite a 3-1 lead after the first period, RMC (4-11-1) fell 4-3 to the Concordia Stingers (7-6-1) on Friday night in Montreal to split the season series thus far.

Owen Gill opened the scoring with his first of the year for the Paladins in a four-goal first period. Gill had missed 14 games for RMC before returning to action Friday night to have an immediate impact.

Rhett Willcox extended his goal-streak to three games when he took advantage of a Concordia giveaway to increase the Paladins lead.

Charlie Roy responded soon after for the Stingers to narrow RMC's lead to 2-1.

Still in the first period, Déric Boudreau found the back of the net to restore the Paladins two-goal lead.

1st Intermission

RMC led Concordia 3-1 after 20 minutes.

The Stingers scored a pair of goals in the final three minutes of the period, with Anthony Gingras and Philippe Sanche finding the back of the net for the hosts.

2nd Intermission

With 20 minutes left, the teams were tied 3-3.

Jean-Philippe Beaulieu scored less than a minute into the third period to give Concordia their first lead of the game. It is Beaulieu's second game-winning goal in back-to-back games.

RMC stays in Montreal to play McGill (8-4-3) on Saturday.
