Have you ever wondered what were the names of famous MLB players,well Kirby Puckett is one of the best he had a great MLB (Major League Baseball) career,a couple years ago Kirby died a few years ago.Kirby started playing baseball at a young age and that payed of because he would soon be in the MLB.

Baseball career

Kirby Puckett played his whole 12 year career with the Minnesota Twins as the center fielder.Kirby was a MLB ( Major League Baseball ) player. Puckett was the fourth player during the 20th century to record 1,000 hits in his first five full calendar years and the second to record 2,000 hits during his first ten full calendar years.Puckett was voted into the Hall of Fame in 2001 his first year of elegabilaty.


Kirby Puckett was Born on March 16,1960 in Chicago Illinois.Kirby was raised in Robert Taylor homes,Kirby was the youngest of nine children that were born by William and Catherine Puckett.Kirby went to calumet High School.Kirby was ignored by pro scouts at the time but they would soon regret that he would be one of the best MLB players of all time.

Death Facts

Kirby Puckett died on March 6,2006 in Phoenix Arizona at age 45 because of a stroke.

Kirby Puckett was a very talented baseball player from a little kid to the majors.Even though Kirby died he will always be one of the greats from the Minnesota Twins.
