Origin:

The Christian beliefs date back before Christ, which was thousands of years ago. The founder or main prophet was known as Jesus Christ. The religion was founded when Jesus was crucified in A.D. 33 in Bethlehem, but now known as Israel.

Major Beliefs:

Christians believe in one God and only one god. They also believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Jesus Christ was born as a Jew according to Christianity as well.

They believe in a book, what is called The Bible and take worship in consideration at Church. At Church, their religious leader is the Priest.

Sects:

Major forms of Christianity are Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Protestantism. All three of those united in their believe of Jesus Christ as savior. These different divisions under Christianity are known as "denominations."

Holidays:

Holidays celebrated by Christians are Christmas, Good Friday, and Easter. These holidays have to do with the birth of Jesus Christ and his resurrection from the dead
