Miami is located in Southern United States in the state of Florida. Miami is located in between two main body's of water which leads to a lot of tropical activity. Miami has an elevation of 25 meters above sea level.

Some places to visit in Miami Florida are Jungle Island, Miami children's Museum, Villa Vizcaya, and Miami Seaquarium. You can also visit the Miami beach for the people who like long walks down the beach at sunset.


Miami's coldest month is January when the average temperature overnight is 59.6°F. In July, the warmest month, the average day time temperature rises to 90.9°F. The driest month in Miami is January with 1.88 inches of rain, and with 8.63 inches of rain August is the wettest month.


Miami was originally just a small town but from 1915 to 1917 it grew to become a large city. Miami beach, Ocean Drive which is now known as Art Deco District was featured in the 1983 film Scarface and the 1996 comedy film The Birdcage.


The second largest city in Florida, Miami is known for its rich heritage and many cultural influences. It is nicknamed the “Capital of Latin America” because of its high population of people would speak Spanish. Miami is the second largest U.S. city with a Spanish-speaking population
