Hymn Singing Afternoon
On Sunday, 13 September @2pm we will be having an opportunity to sing hymns and enjoy an afternoon tea together.
If you enjoy singing the older hymns then keep the afternoon free – we would love to see you there. Please invite any friends who would like to come along.
If you have any questions please contact Garry McGrechan - firstname.lastname@example.org or 0418 447 414.
Did you know?
Parky is again hosting the Scripture Union 'Kids in the Kitchen' cooking camp in the first week of the October school holidays.
The camp is now fully booked for participants, however there are still positions for volunteers to help in the kitchen and also with the morning set-up. Contact Rowan du Boulay on 0423 865 972 if you think this is a space that you can help with.
The camp team are excited to be bringing kids from all walks of life to a place where they can have fun, fellowship and good food - they would also value your prayers! Pray for young hearts to be open to hearing the message of the good news of Jesus, for friendships to be formed and for a safe environment for all involved.
Access to the church during this week (Monday, 28 September to Friday 2 October) will be restricted and any visitors will need to check in first with Sally Howe or Rowan du Boulay. There will be signage on the premises with directions during this period, otherwise contact the office for more information.
Pray for a stirring of God's people at Parky to prayer and to action in furthering His kingdom.
Continue to pray for God's hand in the restoration of our world from the effects of Covid-19.
Pray for wisdom in our church leadership as they continue to guide Parky through our new normal.
Thank God for each and every one of our church family and the blessing it is to be able to meet in person with one purpose.
Thank God for the life of Kim Biddle, and pray for his family and close friends as they come to terms with their loss.
Give thanks for the way the Parky Care Team have committed to helping the Bhutanese students with food and care parcels whilst they look for work to support themselves through this period. Give thanks for the generosity of our people @Parky in providing the items needed each week.
Pray for God's prompting on our church family, for people to step up and fill gaps in our volunteer ranks.
Continue to pray for provision to meet our financial needs this year. Pray for continued wisdom in our financial management and generosity in spirit as a church.
Continue to pray for those who are grieving, unwell or recovering from injury.
Continue to pray for the missionaries we support as a church, for God’s protection & blessing over them as they bless those around them.
