In addition to welcoming the new board, please take a moment to thank our retiring members. Jackie Halsey, board member for 3 years and current Co-President is stepping down at the end of this year. Julie Simmons, board member for 2 years and the current Communications Secretary, and Penghui Hao, board member for 2 years and the current Treasurer, are also retiring at the end of this academic year. We would like to thank them all for their service. We are so appreciative of all that they have done for our school, teachers, and students!
We need help filling committees for next year! We hope to have a fun in-person year in 2021-2022 and we need YOUR help!

Dr. Beaver and several parent volunteers will be at school cleaning the Koi pond, to get it ready for a new pump and filter. If you are interested in joining us this weekend, find your messiest clothes and email us. We will also use this time to assess the garden and its needs. Not available this weekend, but still want to help? Fill out this FORM and we will include you on future clean up, building, and/or gardening dates. We hope to develop a summer schedule as well, with families helping to maintain our outdoor spaces.
Thankful Treats
Our End-of-Year Staff and Faculty Appreciation Luncheon is set for Wednesday, June 9th at approximately 12:30PM.
We are hosting it outside of school in the outdoor classroom spaces (weather permitting) and we have contracted with Andrew the Chef and Dia Doce to cater this meal. We have also purchased our appreciation gifts, which we hope to distribute at that lunch. If you are around on that date and can help with set-up or would like to contribute decorations or flowers, please email us or just text Meghan at 484-431-8800.

With your incredible generosity, we have been able to host 4 delicious lunches (5 in total with the upcoming one) so far for our amazing faculty and staff. We have an average of 75-80 participants each month and they are SO appreciative! This has been a very well-received initiative and we would love to continue it, to some extent, next year. We realize that we will likely scale back, but we think that this has been great for school morale and spirit. If you would like to help continue organizing Thankful Treats for next year, the Board would love to have a few parents lead the Staff and Faculty Appreciation program for the 2021-2022 academic year.
