#thankfulThursday

The office staff would like your help in recognizing our staff. Please take a few moments and use the link below to provide some encouragement to those folks that are making a major difference in your child's future. These comments can be anonymous, or you can provide your name. The office staff will use the provided comments every Thursday for our #thankfulThursday movement. The attached form can be completed, as little or often as you like, throughout the entire school year. We appreciate your support in growing the culture of gratitude that already exists at MIS!!

A couple of comments shared this week:

"Mrs. Wagner and her staff make anyone who walks into the Cafeteria feel welcome. The care that is taken to feed us nutritious and delicious food goes above and beyond!"

Welcome Back

Students and staff hit the ground running this week. We had a great first week back. Enjoy your weekend.

2021-22 GC Virtual programming

Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation recognizes that we must continue to offer innovative educational opportunities so that we can reach each student and support his or her social, emotional, and academic growth. In order to serve our students who have found success in the virtual environment, Greenfield-Central will offer a Virtual Programming option for all students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 -- GCVirtual.

GCVirtual is meant to meet the needs of students and families who have shown that they can remain engaged in their academic journey in a fully-virtual environment. Students who have not been successful in the virtual environment will not be considered for admittance and will be invited to attend classes onsite throughout the school year. Please find the link to the entire handbook here.

In order to maintain clear expectations and communicate commitments between students, families, and Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation educators, the attached guide offers explanations and guidance for families. Questions regarding GCVirtual should be directed to administrators (page 3) and/or counselors (page 8). A link to the GCVirtual application can be found on the first and last pages of the handbook.

We look forward to partnering with families who engage in GCVirtual.
