Bossypants Jody bEcomes very bossy over janie and the tOwn. Ch 5

"He had a bow-down command in his face, and every step he took made the thing more tangible" (pg. 47) . Jody came into the town thinking he was better than everybody else and he now is telling everyone what to do and the town is fed up with it.

"He bought a little lady-size spitting pot for Janie to spit in" (pg. 47). This to me says that Jody bought Janie the spitting pot to let Janie know that he is in control of her and he tells her what to do.

"They bowed down to him rather, because he was all of these things, and then again he was all of these things because the town bowed down to him" (pg.50). This says that Jody is bossy and controlling because the people of the town has now let him to be like that . That's why Jody is so comfortable with telling people what to do.
