This copy of the clavichord by Gottfried Silbermann plays and sounds very delicate. It has a rich sound. This distinctive instrument is very suitable to play works from the time of J.S. Bach.

A striking feature of this instrument is the great variety in dynamics.

The clavichord has - as the original instrument - two parchments rosettes. The keys are finished with ebony and the upper keys are finished with bone.
