My initial research of the stock market;
The stock market enables companies, new or established, to exchange capital for a small part of their ownership. Each small part of ownership is called a ‘share’, or a ‘stock’. Individuals can exchange, buy and sell these stocks. This is why it is called the ‘stock’ market.
The stocks I invested in the first were Supergroup (known for SuperDry), Coca Cola and Metro
My reflection half way through;
Only one of my companies are in the green; iRobot. I invested in most of my companies because they were recommended by popular stock exchange sites. All my other companies are going down. I realise I didn’t spend enough time researching each company before investing.
My final reflection
After the drop of all my previous stocks, I decided to reset. I sold almost all of my stocks, keeping only Samsung. After Trumps elections, I was awaiting change. I did a bit of research, and found a few stocks worth investing in after the elections. It turned out great, and now all of my stocks are in the green.
Each individual stock I had the 1st of December, 2016
