NEW CREATIVE DIGITAL ACTIVITIES HOME LEARNING FROM ADOBE & THE RSC

Adobe and the RSC are committed to creativity and promoting digital skills. We have worked together to create fun and easy digital activities to support parents and teachers with home learning.

WHAT IS ADOBE SPARK AND HOW CAN IT HELP WITH DISTANCE LEARNING?

Adobe Spark apps are simple but powerful presentation and storytelling tools that can be used to bring some creativity into education - whether in the classroom or at home! They are (and always will be) completely free for education institutions and a free version is available for all. No question about it.

With Adobe Spark, students, teachers and parents or guardians can quickly and easily create and narrate videos, design posters and graphics, or write assignments, all in a visually compelling way that young people will love! Adobe Spark works anywhere there’s a web browser, including on Chromebooks and iPads with dedicated iOS versions.

Adobe Spark is great fun for both children and adults, and can help improve creativity and digital skills. It's a fun & simple creative education tool and could be a helpful app for using at home.

THE ADOBE SPARK APPS:

Digital Activity 1

Create a Puppet Character with Spark Video

Choose a key scene between two or three characters e.g. Hamlet and the ghost of his father in Act 1 Scene 5. Create puppets to represent the characters (or draw them) and then select some key lines to act out as the Ghost and as Hamlet.

HOW DO I GET ADOBE SPARK?

PARENT & GUARDIAN ACCESS AT HOME

You can get started with Spark by clicking on the link below. Spark is totally free and has no trial limit with the starter plan. If your child is over 13 years old, they can set-up their own account.

CAN MY SCHOOL GET ACCESS?

If your child's school already has Adobe products they can simply request Spark access for their institution via their Adobe Admin Console. The school's IT admin should be able to support. Please feel free to forward this page to them and follow the guide below.

If the school is new to Adobe they can complete the short form accessed via the button below and we'll help them along the way. An Adobe team member will be in contact to support in the set up. To simplify the setup process we now support Federated ID through Microsoft Office 365 and G-Suite for Education making it a quick and easy process.

If your teacher does not have IT support right now, they can quickly get started using a personal account that's free and has no trial limit. This does not include all the features available in the school licence - such as branding - but does include all the great features that will still make these activities fun for all!
