MMHS Counseling Newsletter November 2021

Now that you've made it through first term, make sure to evaluate what went well academically, and what improvements you can make moving forward. It is nice to have a fresh start each term, to make progress and change things that weren't as successful.

November is a great month to wrap up senior college admissions applications and to finish the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Remember to refer to our Counseling website for your college information, and helps with applications and the FAFSA.

Students will be able to adjust their schedules for second semester starting in January when we get back from the break. ALL class changes will be made through an online class change form just like the beginning of the year. Parents, we will not be making appointments for your student's class changes at the semester. It is an overwhelming time for counselors and our time is limited. If you have questions or concerns, you can email your student's counselor. Remember, we do not do class changes at the term, just at the beginning of the school year in August and at the semester change in January. The expectation is that students complete their classes for the entire semester.
