Dreams final project by: vicente moreno

Universal theme: dreams come true if you work hard for them but can be crushed at anymoment.

"of mice and men"

"the hand shook violently, but his face set and his hand steadied. he pulled the trigger. The crash of the shot rolled up the hills and rolled down. Lennie jarred, and then seattled slowly forward to the sand, and he lay without quivering."

even though lennie worked hard and really wanted that farm with rabbits and animals we can learn that any dream can be crushed but it wont hurt to try.

"the necklace"

In he story the necklace madem moisel wanted to have money and be beautiful and for all the other people to see how happy she is with her husband but even though her husband tried to make her happy she was still ungrateful

the author tells us if you work for your dreams it will come true but madem moisel wouldnt put in effort to work for what she wanted so she asked for a peice of jewelry which brought her to a horrible situation in which they were suffering and her dreams were crushed so greed can get in your dreams ways.

when pinocchios father worked hard enough to make pinocchio a real boy it finally came true but once pinocchio became a real boy it seemed like he took for granted of what he wanted so his dream was crushed and didn't stay as a real boy.

so what? Impact

Dreams are a big part of our lives. without them nothing would motivates us to keep us going. Just like lennie had dreams it kept him going and it motivated him to keep trying. Just like anyone can dream and achieve to do anything they can set there mind to.
