Clonmacnoise Our 5th class project

The Vikings attacked Clonmacnoise 8 times for their riches
The Monks built round towers to protect themselves. When the Vikings attacked, they also used them to store riches.
There were 17 Churches in the 8th centruy, but only 6 that remain, They are wonderful tourist atractions
Clonmacnoise is a Monastry,,it is one of the biggest Monastries in Ireland
Clonmacnoise is in between the River Shannon and Slimor
