First Agriculture Revolution

The first agricultural revolution was the start of domestication of animals and plants. It started around 12,000 years ago betweens the times of 10,000 and 2,000 B.C. Humans started to grow crops in certain areas of the world, these places are the Agriculture hearths. This let humans settle in areas to farm for food instead of having to leave to go and hunt.

Second Agriculture Revolution

The second started between the 1700's and 1900's around the time of the industrial revolution. At this time humans were now starting to use machines, with this people had ways to make their jobs as farming and harvesting easier and faster. This also allowed for people to transport their crops to other places.

Third Agriculture Revolution.

The Third and more recent revolution occurred in the late nineteenth century. This was the start of using biotechnology for plants and animals. Genetically modifying animals to make them bigger than normal sizes and making crops grow faster with fertilizers.
