Parent/Student Information

End of 3rd quarter is April 15th. Be sure to have your students complete any of their missing assignments by the teacher's deadline.

Virtual Art Show- One of our senior's, Hannah C., is hosting a virtual art show for her Senior Project on April 5th. Attached is the Google form for our students to submit their art work. If you have any questions, please email Hannah Camp at hannah.camp@amity.k12.or.us.

Yearbook needs your help! They are currently asking for any sporting event photos, distance learning photos, Halloween photos and Virtual Spirit Week photos that your child has done since the start of this school year. Please email your photos, with a label of what it is (i.e. Flag football, distance learning, spirit week) to ams.sign@amity.k12.or.us. If you have any questions, please email Reg McShane at reg.mcshane@amity.k12.or.us.

Want to order a yearbook? There are 3 ways you can order a yearbook. Pay in person at the office with cash or check, pay through My Mealtime or through LifeTouch (code 7018821). Yearbook costs $15.


Track practice will bring on Monday, April 5th. Coach Larson and Assistant Coach Vrell will meet all the track athletes at 3:30pm in the gym on Monday the 5th. This will be the day your athlete will sign up for events that they will participate in. More information will come out after the first practice.

Amity Youth Sports

Baseball & Softball Sign Ups

We still have not heard yet about baseball and softball through McMinnville Parks & Recreation. If it does happen, this is available for students grades 6th-8th. However, we encourage families to watch out for an announcement through the Amity Youth Sports Facebook page. Or you can contact Kamren Weiler at 503-487-7167. Once information is available, we will share it at school as well.

Babe Ruth Baseball is available for grades 7th and 8th. There is still an unknown regarding a season. If you have any questions regarding your son playing Babe Ruth please contact Becky Prevett at 503-932-7091 or at amitybaberuth@yahoo.com.

Leadership News

Leadership is hosting a Virtual Talent Show on April 14th and 15th. If you would like to view the Talent Show, please email Mr. Larson at jared.larson@amity.k12.or.us. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Larson.

Leadership is selling suicide awareness magnets in honor of Olivia. If you would like to order a magnet, please complete the form below. You will then be contacted by Mr. Larson to arrange for pick up. Payment can be done upon pick up with cash or check, or through My Mealtime app. The cost for a magnet is $10 each. All proceeds would go to a suicide prevention program.

Warriors Serve

Student store opens daily at 11:20am. This is available for all our students during this time.

Warriors Serve just finalized their Readers are Leaders fundraiser. The funds will be used for care kits for those experiencing homelessness. They will be starting their annual community clean up shortly. This year's focus will be the city park and main street.

Counseling News

Are you needing to meet with Mr. Larson? You can set up a virtual meeting with Mr. Larson by using the Google form below. These sessions are 30 minutes and are to be scheduled during your non school time.

New York/Washington, D.C. Trip

The Spring Break 2022 DC/NY trip is the only trip that will be available to our current 6th-8th grade students during their middle school years. Our next trip will not be until Spring Break 2024. Your student can still register for the trip.

Library News

If you have long overdue library books , now is the time to find those books and return them. Notices about overdue books will be sent home next week. And be sure to check out new ones!

We have two awesome Battle of the Books team who will be officially battling soon. We’ll keep you posted !


The middle school is currently doing a fundraiser of Papa Murphy's cards for $5 each. All proceeds from this fundraiser will help raise money for our End of the Year field trips. Help us raise money for our students to have a fun day! The top 3 sellers will receive a prize!

The middle school collects Box Tops for Education and participates in the Coca-Cola Rewards program for schools.

For Box Tops- We can still collect the "clip" ones that say $0.10. However, you can click on the link below, set up an account, pick Amity Middle School and start scanning your receipts for box tops.

For Coca-Cola rewards- if you purchase Coca-Cola products, enter the code on the lid or box by clicking on the link below. Did you know some of these products can bring in anywhere from $0.05 to $0.15 each! You will need to set up an account, and pick Amity Middle School.

All money raised from both of these goes back to our end of the year field trips and after school activities such as Warriors Night Out and Dances.
