The History of American Photography Project In your own words

Now that you have viewed all three parts of the movie you should have an opinion about who you felt was an inspirational or exemplary photographer. These are the men and women who showed us pictures of what our world looked like and adopted the technology of their time to create those images. In this project you will write about 3 photographers you felt were very notable in the movie segments. Use the journalism standards of who, what, where, when and why.

  • What to turn in to the class Media Fire drop box... labeled lastname_history as follows:
  • Two pages of text in your own words in one Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format, 12 pt font, double spaced.
  • Include at the end of the writing, 3 images embedded in the page (Copy and paste these images)...one from each photographer's notable or best work. How do you find these? Try a Google image search of your selected photographers.
  • Also lastly cite your internet resources used to obtain the photographers images. Do a simple copy and paste of the web site URL (web site address) into the last page of your Word document.

You will have two pages of writing, a third page with images and a fourth page with your sources cited. All parts must be present in the specified order to earn full points. Make sure this is in your own words! I want to hear your opinion.
