Baker Family, It is hard to believe that we are half-way through the 2020-2021 school year. On Monday, January 25th, we will start the 2nd semester and once again welcome students back to the building to return to in-seat/hybrid instruction. We understand that every family has made a learning preference decision that works the best for them. Whether you have selected to remain virtual or in-seat, please reference the Return to Learn Guidebook as it contains important information for every student. This week's Blast includes an overview of the Return to Learn Guidebook and changes associated with our shift to the hybrid format.

Hybrid Bell Schedule
Daily Health Screening
As a part of our Return to Learn Plan, all students attending school in-person, will need to complete a daily health screening. Please note that you only have to submit the screening on the days your student is physically in class. It's very important that you do this by 7:45 am. Students will not be able to attend school in-person if the screenings are not done. This is not intended to be punitive in any way, but it is a critical measure in protecting the safety of all.
DAILY STUDENT HEALTH ASSESSMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Log in to your Parent Portal on PowerSchool
- Click “Student Assessment” in the banner across the top
- Answer 4 questions about your student’s health that day
- Click submit (and repeat the process for every student in your family)
It’s very important that you keep your student home if you answer “Yes” to any of the questions or your child is ill in any way. Don't forget--this doesn't mean they have to miss school. They can simply join virtually from home as they have been doing so far. We considered this in the designing of our hybrid plan.

Yearbook Order Information
Hello Baker Families,
Mrs. Traver here. Because of this crazy COVID-19 year, we are in dire need of your help in getting photos for the yearbook. Normally, students would be going around taking photos, but that can obviously not happen this year, so we need to find another way.
You can help by sending photos. We’d like to see them and include them in our yearbook. It can be anything from this year. For example something you did over the summer, hanging with friends, life at home, a great selfie, what you did on break… Whatever! Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
You can submit them to the link below
Video Submission Instructions
- To select multiple images, press your CTRL (or CMD key) while making your image selections.
- To ensure high quality printing in the yearbook, please provide only high-resolution images. Images can be uploaded in JPEG, TIFF, or PNG file format.
I Can’t wait to see your photos, and I want to thank you so much for helping us out. You are so appreciated!
Have a great day,
Mrs. Traver, Yearbook Advisor
