Dream & Aspersions By Cody Williams

Universal Theme: All dreams are achievable but you got to make them achievable.

Of Mice and Men

"An' live off the fatta the lan'," Lennie shouted. "An' have rabbits. Go on, George! Tell about what we're gonna have in the garden and about the rabbits in the cages and about the rain in the winter and the stove, and how thick the cream is on the milk like you can hardly cut it".

This is an explanation of George and Lennie's dream and what they want. It will be difficult for them to achieve their goal of getting the land by working hard and picking and achievable dream that they can achieve. Stienbeck made you think that they where really going to get the place when Candy was going to pitch in but it still didn't happen.

The scarlet Ibis

"Doodle dreamed to walk and run like the normal kids".

When Doodle was born disabled the narrator still believed he would be able to walk. He believed this because he did not want a brother that can't walk because it would be embarrassing. When Doodle could walk they connected for the first time because he could walk now.

This is when Doodle learns to walk and play like every thing that kids do.

Where The Red Fern Grows Book

"Lying back in the soft hay, I folded my hands behind my head, closed my eyes, and let my mind wander back over the two long years. I thought of the fishermen, the blackberry patches, and the huckleberry hills. I thought of the prayer I had said when I asked God to help me get two hound pups. I knew He had surely helped, for He had given me the heart, courage, and determination."

This shows what Billy's dream is and how he's asking God to meet him half way to get the pups. It shows how long he's waited and he hasn't given up on the dream he made the dream achievable. And how much courage and determination to achieve his dream.

This shows after Billy works hard to get his dream and what he did with it.

Everybody has a dream in life. You have to play a role in your dream to make it possible to achieve. I have learned what it takes to achieve a very challenging dream. The importance of a persons dreams is decided by their mindset and goals for the future. It shows how determined they are to achieve their goals.
