The battle of Bunker Hill gave a huge advantage to the British. The battle before Bunker Hill occurred at Concord, Massachusetts. In fact, Americans won that battle. The British were very upset, but they decided to focus on the next battle. The British advanced 10,000 militiamen on Boston. The British, however, had an advantage. The Americans were about to face a two-on-one battle, and loosing. Being inexperienced, this convinced the Americans that patriotic dedication could overcome superior British military might. They soon realized they should put more effort into these battles, because it might have a great outcome. With that thought, it just encouraged, and infuriated them more.
