Dr. Joseph Wakshlag, DVM PhD
Joseph J. Wakshlag, DVM, PhD, DACVN, DACVSMR, is a Professor of Nutrition and Sports Medicine at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to his ground-breaking 2017 study, Dr. Wakshlag and ElleVet are currently conducting seven clinical trials researching the effectiveness in seizure, oncology, acute pain, IBD, atopic dermatitis and anxiety, as well as stomatitis in felines.

Michael Williams, chairman of ElleVet, is a former Executive Vice President at IDEXX Laboratories, responsible for the International Division and VetLab In-house Diagnostics Business Unit. Dr Williams was at IDEXX for 14 years. Previously he was a healthcare strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company and Senior Research Associate at Scripps Research Institute, California. Dr. Williams holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Oxford.
