Remembering Our Grandparents Shirl & Myrtle (Weiser) Player

Shirley Player graduated West High School in Salt Lake City in 1915. HE moved his young family to Seattle for his wife’s health had suffered in the high altitude.

His sweetheart, Myrtle had graduated from St. Mark’s Nursing School in Salt Lake City, and was now caring for their two sons and a daughter.

Grampa Shirl had a service station between 5th and 6th where the Olympic Hotel is now in downtown Seattle.
