CCWCD 2016 the year in review

CCWCD worked hard for its' constituents in 2016. From increased quotas and member meetings, community involvement, and educational opportunities to flood mitigation, phreataphyte removal and new water storage projects, the staff and board continue their efforts in support of agricultural production and water management for citizens on northeastern Colorado.

First water delivered to Rural Land Recharge, construction finishes up at Geisert Reservoir, and the inlet at JoDee Reservoir

For the first time ever, CCWCD partnered with the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra the UNC Art Department and Thrivent Financial to present a series of concerts for schools and families, with water themed music and conservation tips.

Ongoing programs such as water quality sampling and monitoring, and legislative involvement continued. Staff participated in training and classes in order to provide the best customer service possible.

We look forward to serving you in 2017. Best Wishes for a Happy New Year!
