Yesterday, a colossal discovery was made in Sutton Hoo. A treasure trove worth millions was found under the mounds on Edith Pretty's land. Mrs Pretty had had a dream that treasure would be found and dug up her land. She found precious jewels as well as an Anglo Saxon longboat the size of 15 grown men.
The digger, Basil Brown, said "I am excited to have dug this up".
This shield was discovered yesterday. It is very delicate.
Edith Pretty will donate the finds to the British Museum and not sell it for loads of money as she is already rich.
Winston Churchill has offered Mrs Pretty a medal but she has turned it down saying that she has not done anything special enough to deserve it.
