Job Description

A teacher's Job is to plan, organize, and implement a suitable instructional program that helps students to reach their full academic potential. They plan lessons and then deliver them, while monitoring students completing their work. Teachers can control their students behavior and provide feedback on their work.

Skills Needed

Teachers need to have good communication skills, interpersonal skills like patience, collaborative skills, creativity, and presentation.

Job Duties

Job duties include but are not limited to; planning and giving lessons, using the assigned curriculum, use technology to support the lesson, manage student behavior, and assign and grade classwork, homework, and tests.

Education and Experience

A teacher needs at least a bachelors degree in the field that they are teaching. They would also need a teaching certificate.


The average annual salary is about $48,000, and the average hourly is $27/h.

Job Outlook

The job outlook for teachers has grown by 6% since 2014, which is faster than average.

In Conclusion

Even after all this strenuous research I still want to be a teacher because I love children and I think it sounds like a fun job.
