A single beam of light By: Donovan Modisett-Staats

Our Story begins with the Sun a large ball of plasma primarily made of Hydrogen and Helium, sending out it's many rays of light firing them off with its constant fission at a speed of 299,792,458 meters per second.

One of these many beams of light hits the earth rocketing through the Exosphere, the Thermosphere, the Mesosphere, the Stratosphere, and eventually coming upon the layer known as the Troposphere where a great deciduous tree leaves take it through the almost transparent Cuticle and Upper Epidermis.

The light travels through the Cuticle and Upper Epidermis only missing the green it once had in its adventure, and is known within the Chloroplast.

Now inside the Chloroplast its energy is blended with the other contents within 6(H2O) and 6(CO2) and soon a chemical reaction occurs changing the beam of light into sugar (Glucose) for the plant to eat.

Then the glucose is rocketed into the phloem passing by the Xylem and into the main stem of the plant where it will be used to eat. While the oxygen escapes through the stoma to allow us to breath.
