THE CICE MISSION

In order to ensure that all the academic internships and service-learning opportunities are meaningful and safe for students:

  • The organizations and employers who wish to offer an internship position must first register with the CICE office to notify about the position available, and fill out the posting form which express their preference on the intern.
  • The company must guarantee that their primary motivation is to provide guidance, training, and mentor ship to intern.
  • The CICE office then evaluate the position carefully before they can approve and post it up on the database for students seeking for an internship.
  • The CICE make sure that during the internship, students have consistent supervision by a professional staff.
  • The CICE will also run a background check on the company before they accept the internship position.
  • There will be no unpaid academic internship. Students will get a pay of minimum wage or above, per State regulations.

WALK-INS WELCOME

Whenever students have questions regarding internship, they can always come in the office during the office hours: Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm and ask for assistance.

The office staff can help and recommend the most suitable position for students based on their major and preference. They can also assist with the application progress, and help student register for the internship, but they can’t give you a job or guarantee that you will get the position. They are only there for help and you have to work on it yourself.

  • On campus: Consult this page for on-campus emergency resources.
  • Off campus: If you would like to report an issue pertaining to your internship or service-learning experience, contact CICE during normal business hours. For after-hour concerns, please send an email or leave a voicemail message with your contact information, and a CICE staff member will contact you during the next business day.

Follow these steps to apply for an internship:

  1. Go to http://www.fullerton.edu/Career/students/jobs-internships/index.php
  2. Click on Jobs & Internships
  3. Click on View Jobs & Internships on Titan Connection
  4. Log in with your username, password
  5. In Jobs & Internships, Click on Titan Connection Jobs
  6. Choose your major/ areas of interest
  7. Click on the advance search
  8. From Position Type, choose Intern (academic/ for college-credit)
  9. APPLY!
