Tools: YouTube vs Wikipedia

YouTube Advantages: YouTube helps people learn as it is available 24/7, it has a wide range of different techniques to do anything and also has Visual/Auditory learning. YouTube is a good learning tool for everyone to use, if someone doesn't understand something a tutor has said they can go home and have a look on YouTube and get a different perspective. Personally I like using YouTube to help me when I'm stuck, when I have used YouTube in the past to help with work I found it good as you can visually learn and see what you need to do and also it has auditory learning, which helps explain things better for me.

YouTube Disadvantages: You can't ask for help, you cant guarantee the information is correct as anyone can post a video.

Wikipedia advantages: Wikipedia is similar to YouTube where it helps people learn 24/7, it has a wide range of different techniques to do anything but only has Visual learning. Wikipedia is a good learning tool for everyone to use, if someone doesn't understand a topic at all they can go home and read up on it and find out any information they think is relevant. Personally I like using Wikipedia to help me gain a better understanding on certain topics or any research, when I have used Wikipedia in the past to help with work I found it good as i found out a lot of information which I needed, the information was in a lot of detail.

Wikipedia Disadvantages: You can't guarantee the information is correct as anyone can write whatever they like on Wikipedia or the information may be out dated.
