As-Different things can cause people to react a certain way in life. This photo

This shows parts of the brain that is vital in behavioral development.

The Frontal Lobe

The frontal lobe is the part of the brain that controls emotional expression, problem solving, memory, language, judgement and sexual behavior. It makes up our personality and our ability to communicate. Criminals who tend to have less control of their emotional side and act violently towards others have a smaller frontal lobe by 18%.

The Amygdala

This part of the brain allows us to process our emotions and to recognize emotions from other people. With this part having 18% less volume than what you would find in a normal person, criminals may not show remorse.

What else can cause a criminal to tick?

There are many other things than can cause people to become criminals or grow to be a violent person.

Brain tumors
Lack of anxiety
Smoking while pregnant
Being genetically predisposed to crime
The Rational and Irrational side communicate too much
The reason why I chose to do this project is to shed light on what causes criminals to behave the way they do and why they cause crimes. I am also interested in criminology and forensics.
