How is wool made? By natasha, ffion, tommy, ruby, miya and miley.

First the farmer sheer the sheep. This is done every year.

Don't worry it does not hurt them.

Then they send it to the factory's to be washed and dried.

They clean the wool to make sure the mud and hay is removed from the wool .

Next the wool is dried.

After that the wool is put through a carding machine to remove any final dirt.

Then the wool is put in to spinners and stretched into yarn.

Finally the wool is separated into different groups of stuff. The wool can be dyed into alll different colours.
