My YWAM Story Dolan rauen

After serving in the youth ministry at my home church for three years, working in the business world for a year and a half and pursuing a business degree for a few quarters, I came face to face with the fact that ministering to God and people is the fire inside my bones. Immediately I knew the season was shifting and God was preparing me for a new thing! I began praying and fasting for direction to take the next step and soon realized it would be a step of faith. I backed down in fear from making any moves, but God was gentle, patient and affirming with me, and I responded in full obedience to the call to do the Justice & Compassion Discipleship Training School at YWAM in Kansas City, MO.

During my time in Kansas City, I am being trained and equipped to share the gospel and impact people groups in a way that changes their lives for the better! I will be trained as a messenger to hear God’s voice, proclaim the gospel, start discipleship movements, and engage in strategic missions.

I have the high honor of being sent to the country of Thailand for 10 weeks to serve orphans, widows and those affected by human-trafficking.

I am so excited to be running with this amazing group of passionate young adults! God has been preparing our hearts for the orphans, widows, aborted, impoverished and human-trafficked by showing us how deeply He loves them.

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” James‬ ‭1:27‬
