Early life

Jackie kersee was born on March 3 1962. She grow up with two sister and one brother. As she was growing up she would say " education first then sports." When she was 9 she ran a race she came in last place but that made her push harder. By 14 she got really inspired by Evelyn Ashford.

Jackie went to the same collage as Evelyn Ashford. In collage she played basket ball, but she loved track. Jackie maid her own quote "Jackie,Jackie,Jackie."

The olympics

She went to the Olympics in the heptathlon and she got in 2nd places then she became the fastest woman alive!!! she got 3 gold metals 1 silver 1 bronze!

How she was a influence

Jackie kersee is a huge influence especially to Ms.Ferguson because she never gave up, she is greatness, she runs in style. Because of how inspired she was she ran for 8 years. 5 years competitive and 3 years training.
