Welcome to Liberty University Prof. Bailey anderson

Who am I?

Email: bpanderson@liberty.edu

Charleston, SC

I was born in the beautiful Palmetto state, but I only lived there for my first 4 years. Most of my mother's family still lives there.

I grew up in a military family, as my Dad served in the U.S. Navy for 28 years. Through this experience, I developed a patriotic passion and desire to serve people.

Sydney, Australia

At 4 years old, I moved to Sydney, Australia. This was a wonderful opportunity to learn about other cultures. We were there so that my Dad could help organize the Australian Bi-Centennial Celebration. It was an incredible experience!

Virginia Beach, VA

When my Dad retired from the Navy, we remained in Virginia Beach, where I finished High School.

4 + 12 = 16 years

After visiting Liberty University during my senior year of High School, I decided that this was the school for me! I went to Liberty for my undergraduate and completed my Bachelor's degree in English. Once I graduated, I moved to D.C. for several years. Then, I decided to pursue my Master's degree, and I got a job at Liberty in 2007. I've been here ever since!
