Feudalism Project By: spencer bennington

Fuedalism-the dominant social system in medieval Europe, in which the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants (villeins or serfs) were obliged to live on their lord's land and give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection.

Manor-a large country house with lands; the principal house of a landed estate. historical (especially in England and Wales) a unit of land, originally a feudal lordship, consisting of a lord's demesne and lands rented to tenants. historical (in North America) an estate or district leased to tenants, especially one granted by royal charter in a British colony or by the Dutch governors of what is now New York State.

The manor was mainly lived in by the lords. They had many meetings and banquets there also.

The peasants and every relied on the kinights on the knights to protect them of being harmed and from getting attacked from attackerss.

The peasants and everyone else relied on the knights because the were their army and protection if they didn't have knights as an army they would probably all get attacked.Everyone relied on the serfs and the noble man be cause they would work for the noble man and they would use their land to make crops and food for people to eat and drink to be able to live. Everyone relied on the king cause he would make the decision of what to do and gave every on their land and got to decide if who became the lord.

It didn't effect anyone cause there were no politics because they had a monarchy government which means that there is a king an a queen and he/she makes the decisions and no one can tell him or her what to do or none could vote.

The feudalism affected the economy cause the poor like the serfs could be only serfs or knights and could not go out of their social class and had to be in the social class for their life. If you were rich your life was good cause you had money and power. You could own land so you would have to pay serfs to work. if you had land you could be a lord.

The feudal system effects the economy because everyone is doing something else and no one is on the same page because there doing something different. Also a lot of people would probably not like each other because poor people might get made fun of by the rich.
