Washing Machine(s) donation needed - Please Help At Recovery House, we often have 30-40 residents participating in various programs with each resident participating in our work enclave. As a result, there are dozens of jeans, shirts, socks, towels and linens which must be kept clean. With the volume of soiled laundry, we have a difficult time providing sufficient washers to keep up with the demand. Most residents participate in outside physical labor (car wash, landscaping, power washing, etc.). Therefore, work clothes must be laundered daily and linens are washed frequently. Will you consider a gift to help us with providing commercial or large capacity washers and dryers? Donations of working washers and dryers along with financial donations will assist us in increasing and maintaining our laundry equipment. Contact our administrative office at (407) 323-5857 or email Jimmy Diller at email@example.com if you can help.
Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida Inc. (LRROF) houses our rescued Labs temporarily with volunteer "foster parents" while we work to find them permanent adoptive homes. Foster parents care for a Lab in their own home, keep veterinary appointments (*LRROF pays all vet fees*), teach basic leash training, socialization, etc., according to the particular dog's needs, and meet with pre-approved prospective adopters (they come to you). Foster parents can specify characteristics of dogs they are willing to foster. They also have final adoption approval for their foster dog. Foster parents play one of the most significant roles in LRROF's rescue efforts: availability of foster homes limits the number of dogs that we can rescue. Sometimes, Labs must be placed on a waiting list until a foster home is available. Unfortunately, some dogs have a limited amount of time before a shelter or animal control will have to put them down. Want to learn more about fostering with LRROF? Click HERE. Still have questions?
