We trust that this week has gone well for you and your family. We continue to wish you health and safety during these unusual times. Teachers have been working hard to grow in the area of engaging eLearning opportunities for students using a full-time virtual platform. They have shared that they enjoyed connecting with and seeing students this week. Thanks for all you are doing to partner with us to keep the students engaged and supported. Parents, we are cheering you on, just as you always do for us! We are all in this together.
As a reminder, your teachers will continue to be available during their identified office hours and on email and messaging apps that they already use to deliver information and content. If your teacher needs to make a change based on the new instructional schedule released today, they will communicate that with you via their messaging apps.
While our physical buildings are closed for the remainder of the year, we look forward to more great days together as Harris. Moving forward, please refer to the schedule above for access to instructional opportunities. New learning opportunities will be made available for students and families on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week. No new content/opportunities will be pushed out on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but teachers will maintain office hours that will be communicated to you by your teacher.

School Counselor Connection
Message from Mrs. Hall- Harris School Counselor
I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy out there. I know that times of uncertainty can be tough on families, but times such as this can also bring family members closer to one another. I just want to take a second to congratulate you all on making it through the first week of eLearning! We all had to work together in order to make this happen. I hope each of you are finding some time to spend with each other whether it be playing board games, going on family walks, sharing a meal, engaging in meaningful conversation, or even going outside to play in the rain. Through my online lessons and this newsletter, I hope to communicate some ways to continue building better relationships among families. One thing I have learned during my first year at Harris is that this staff cares immensely for each of your kiddos, and we are thinking about them daily. My hope is that families and staff will remain optimistic during this time of adversity. At Harris we sure are proud of our resilient families!
