Schumaker Opens

The tradition of excellence continues at Ohio State with the opening of The Schumaker Complex. The facility serves over 800 student-athletes that will lift, condition, train, study, rehabilitate injuries and benefit from nutritional resources. The Schumaker houses locker rooms for 8 Buckeye sports teams, has 2,600 square feet of classroom space and provides 15,500 square feet of training space – There is a great sense of Buckeye pride between our team and fellow student-athletes in the weight room. Interacting in the new facility makes us even more excited for The Covelli opening across the street in May!

Podraza Enrolls Early

6’2 Setter Machaela Podraza enrolled early and joined the Buckeyes for Spring Training! Mac, a product of Big Walnut High School in Columbus, was named Prep Volleyball Senior Ace #39 after a decorated career winning a National Championship in the 16 Open Division. Mac has enjoyed building relationships with the team both on and off the court – She loved volunteering at The James Cancer Hospital creating blankets for patients at the Buckeye Blanket Bash to start the semester!
