Matthew Wiltsey By Matthew Wiltsey

I am the first born child in a family of five, I have my brother Adam, my sister Sara, (shown in the picture below) and my parents Kim and Jeff.

I grew up in Sublimity Oregon, a small farming town of no more than 3000 people. It lies just 15 minutes south of the capital city of Salem.

I graduated from Regis High School in 2015, with a graduating class of 49.

I played Basketball, Football, and Baseball for all four years of high school.

One of my favorite hobbies is snowboarding, I have been shredding since I was 5 years old, below is my family's favorite spot to snowboard, Mt. Hoodoo. Some of my other hobbies include, gaming, and playing basketball.

I was baptized into the Catholic Church during April of last year, in the cube of all places. The bishop was the first person I have met in Helena who knows where my hometown is.

There were bumps in the road my first semester, and at one point I considered transferring schools, but with all things it took time. I had never been so far from home for so long a period before.

And now I couldn't be happier. I love Helena, I love Carroll and all the awesome people, (and dogs) I get to see everyday.

Just thought I would throw this in here, me and my dad were driving home from Carroll and we passed this lady with a goat in the back of the old lady's truck. I think this is the moment when I officially thought, Montana is the place for me, its just as weird as I am!
