What is a healthy diet

  • Eating the right amount of food form all 5 food groups which are vegetables,fruits,grain,protein
  • Your plate should be half fully with vegetables and fruits
  • 1/4 should be grain and 1/4 should be protein in you plate
  • 1 cup of dairy
  • i should have 5 ounce of grain and protien everday
  • 2 cups of vegetables everyday
  • 2 1/2 cups fruits everyday
  • 3 cups of dairy everyday
  • eating food that are low in saturated fats.trans fats,cholesterol,salt and add sugar
  • Drink fat-free or low-fat (1%) milk and water instead of soda,sports drinks, and other sugary drinks
  • Avoid over sized portions
  • Better quality of life

Why is healthy diet importan

Consequences of eating healthy
  • Healthy diet lead a good and healthy life style
  • Eating from different five groups give you different nutrients, vitamins and minerals that help your body to stay healther
  • Help you to mange weight
  • Reduce the risk of disease
  • Prevents obesity
  • Gives you energy that your body needs

Some of foods that are healthy

  • Apples
  • Egg
  • Meat
  • nuts
Consequences of not eating healthy
  • Eating unhealthy put your entire body on stress
  • Eating unhealthy does not provide nutrients that your body need to stay healther
  • Higher risk of obesity because there eating lot of food that is in packages and the nutrients are take out of food packages
  • Do to obesity you have a higher risk of developing major health problem such as heart disease,type 2 debates, high blood pressure,stroke, and liver disease and cancer
  • You will gain more weight because eating more calories then your body need

  • cookies
  • Chips
  • soda
  • french fries

Why do i care to eat healthy

I care to have a healthy diet because it may affected my ability to live a healthy and balanced life. If i do not eat healthy then i am not going to stay healthy which is going to affect my goals for life. For example one of my goal is to become a designer but for it to become true i have to stay healthy. So my body get the energy that i need to worker which will cause my mind to work faster and effectively.Eating healthy will benefit me because then the designed i am going to make are going to will have a higher quality. Eating healthy will affect my life in better ways such as having less chance of getting major disease such as heart, cancer that will have a bad impact on my body and work. Also eating unhealthy food can effect my hobbies such as drawing,writing and badminton. if i do not eat food from the five groups of a plate then i am not going to have the nutrients that my body to do work . That means i can not play badminton because then my body would hurt because my bones are wreaking up do to not getting nutrients,vitamin and minerals. If i do eat unhealthy which is going to effect me in bad way in life.
