Expain how solar power could be harnessed to provide a vehicle with an alternate power source.

Solar energy.

Solar power is a renewable source of energy .There are two types of solar energy photovoltaic and thermal. Photovoltaic directly coverts sunlight into electricity. Whereas thermal technology harnesses heat.Australian continent has the highest solar radiation per square metre of any continent and consequently some of the best solar energy resource in the world. Solar energy has been used by humans for billions of years for heating, cooking food, drying clothes even removing salt from sea water.

Question 3- My Alternate powered vehicle



Gears & axles ( Lego), a small 9v solar panel, a mini 6v motor and strong glue.

My Alternate Powered Vehichle is a solar powered car. My Vehichle is going to need to use sunlight so I am hopeing that there is good, sunny weather. I decided to use solar power because it is a renewable source of energy and in some ways can prevent global warming. My Vehichle is going to be made out of Lego parts except for the motor and the solar panel. Inially I was thinking of using the little bits kits until I came across a problem, that I can not use glue on the little bits kits so I decided to use Lego.
